We built Render Homes to make considered interior design available to anyone, without the cost of hiring a designer.
It started with our mum.
She wanted to redo her living room. She knew roughly what she liked but not how to put it together, and every designer she looked at meant a large fee, meetings to arrange and someone walking round the house before she would get any real answers. For one room, that was more than she wanted to take on.
We looked for something in between and could not find it, so we built it.
You send photos of the room, tell us how you want it to feel and what you can spend, and we send back a design of that room with the products to buy and the order to buy them in. We have been improving it ever since.

AI has changed what is possible here. We use it to explore more ideas and to show you a realistic picture of your own room, which is what makes £150 possible instead of £2,000.
Good design still comes down to making the right decisions, and that part is ours. We look at every room that comes through, which means we learn quickly and keep improving the work.
